Who we are as Tail Blazers
At the Cambridge Tail Blazers, we believe that every furry friend deserves the best care possible! Kristen Spires started the Cambridge Tail Blazers for her passion for animals, and her dedication to giving pets the highest quality of care possible. She has worked with animals her whole life with a wide range of experience with different species. She raised baby budgies since she was a child, and has extensive experience with dogs, cats, rodents, fish, etc. Ever since she turned 18, she has been gathering professional experience in the animal world with different companies related to dog daycare, walking, and training. Along with several years personal experience caring for sick animals, first aid, medicine administration, raising baby animals, and training. She is well versed in many training methods, but practices fear free and R+ training.
Antonio Gonzalez loves to sneak in some extra treats, kisses, and cuddles for all the Tail Blazers! His love for animals comes from his childhood where from a young age he took on the responsibility of caring for his beloved chihuahuas, Doe and Reo. He’s also had personal experience owning guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, kittens, and hamsters. He always builds a special bond with the pets and is a calm and gentle presence that is appreciated by the shyest Tail Blazers, like our shy kitty Miss Abilene who has taken a special liking to him (and nobody else!!) He always knew he wanted to work with animals and he’s always learning more about them every day. If you’ve got a pet that needs extra love and someone calm to care for them, Antonio is the best match!
